She is seen here in the old style of last century with her shawl and goffered cap. Even her obituary was phrased in the manner of former days when described a "venerable matron, distinguished during a long life by her industry and hospitality, piety and benevolence. She left this 'vale of tears' cherished a good hope trough grace".
